Design a blade competition
We’re inviting children to take part in our design competition. It’s a fun and inclusive way to get involved in the Run with Rich Weekend, and celebrate creativity and sport.
Paralympian and Richard Whitehead Foundation President Richard Whitehead will be wearing the specially designed running blades at both of our upcoming events:
Run With Rich on Saturday 27 September and the Robin Hood Half Marathon on Sunday 28 September, and your child could design them!
A great creative project for the summer holidays.

How to take part
Download and print the blade template from our website
Create a colourful design directly onto the template
Take a photo or scan of the finished design
Email it to us at info@whitehead.foundation with your name and contact number by Friday 22 August
What happens next
Richard will select his favourite design. It will be printed and added to his blades for him to wear during both events.
The designer of the chosen entry will also be invited to meet Richard in person at Run With Rich on 27 September.
