Project Notts - Mentoring support

About Project Notts

In association with Active Partner Trust Project Notts, we supported 10 Nottinghamshire-based disabled individuals with a passionate mentor with lived experience.

The project helped break down barriers for individuals and guided them on their road to achieving their personal ambitions through the physical and therapeutic life-changing power of movement and sport.

Mentors utilised their valuable life, work, or sporting experience to support individuals using a person-centred approach.

Due to the success of the programme, we are pleased to launch our 2025 Mentoring Programme.

We are currently looking for disabled people to become mentors, as well as mentees who want to become more active. Find out more here.

Active Notts: Mentoring in action

As part of our Active Notts programme, we captured some powerful stories. These case studies and videos showcase the difference the mentoring journey made – from building confidence to breaking down barriers and opening up new opportunities through sport and movement.
