The beginnings. The passion.

For more than a decade, Richard Whitehead has been using his passion for sport, his determination to support people with a disability, and his experience as an international athlete to inspire others to get active. The long-term benefits of being regularly active are widely known – people who are active are healthier and happier - but disabled people still face significant barriers to participation.

Through a series of innovative community projects and support tailored to individual needs, we’re breaking through those barriers and helping people not only access sport but change what they think is possible.
